Pozo Hayes expresses desire to headline a concert

As the legendary highlife musician Pozo Hayes turns 70 on February 14 next year, one of the things on his wish list is to headline a concert.

Born as Nana Boakye Ofori Atta, Pozo Hayes is known for his unique style of music and popularity during his hay days.

Many would be wondering why he is needing a concert now than at the peak of his career. He shared that headlining a concert has always been a major goal.

“There’s nothing more fulfilling for an artist than to connect with fans through a live performance” he said during his conversation with graphic showbiz.

Hayes has been building his music career for over decades, steadily gaining recognition for his catchy tunes with his silky vocal delivery. With a number of hits under his belt, he believes the next step is to take center stage in a concert that reflects his long artistic journey.

While Hayes continues to work towards this goal, he remains focused and looking forward to well wishers, fans, corporate bodies to help him realize this goal.

“I would be happy if they pooled resources to make my dreams come true. It would mean the world to me to have my birthday celebrated in such a meaningful way, surrounded by music, love and appreciation”, he said.
