I have never met Lil Win in person, he only called me for a GTP favour in 2019 – Martha Ankomah

Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has made a striking revelation that she has never met her colleague actor Lil Win in person.
Speaking in an interview on Accra FM on August 7 amidst her ongoing legal tussle with Lil Win, she said the only time she spoke to Lil Win was when he phoned her for a favour in 2019.
She recalled during the interview that the said incident happened on April 27, 2019, at 10:38 AM whiles checking her phone to confirm.
“Before God and man, I have not met Lil Win physically and our paths have never crossed before. The only time I spoke to him was when he called me on phone for a favour.
“You know the iPhone keeps records. So, this was the only time Lil Win called me and asked for a favour with the very GTP he insulted me with.
“God being so good, I spoke to GTP. I don’t know if he went to see them or not. But, if Lil Win, would speak the truth, he reached out to thank me, afterwards,” Martha noted.
The movie star continued: “I also sent him a number for him to call, adding that they had assured he would be given a good deal. I asked him to reach out to me in case he needed further assistance. That’s the only time I ever spoke to Lil Win. I’ve not seen him physically before.”
According to Martha, the Kumawood actor and producer Lil Win reached out to him for a favour to help him get a deal from GTP to print uniforms for his school.
“He wanted GTP to print school uniforms for his school. And, he said, when he spoke about this to people, he was told Martha Ankomah was the GTP brand ambassador.
“So I told him no problem and I will speak to them and get back to you. So I called the Boss and he was like no problem and he gave me a number to give back to Lil Win,” she narrated.
Lil Win’s Great Minds International School in Kumasi was established in 2018. As reported, the GTP collaboration deal was sought in 2019.
On February 14, 2024, a GHS5 million defamation lawsuit by Martha Ankomah against Lil Win surfaced on the internet. The suit was over an alleged defamatory remarks by Lil Win against Martha Ankomah.
The case is still on court and scheduled for hearing in October. However, there are unconfirmed reports that both parties have agreed to out of court settlement.
